Saving Seed of Edible Weeds

chickweed found on a forage trip
Summer is winding down and it is prime seed saving season. While you are busy collecting from flowers and veggies like sunflower, arugula, spinach, lettuce, tomatoes, and peppers, why not collect seeds from your favorite edible and medicinal weeds?

Purslane, chickweed, and nettles come to mind. These are easy to gather and resow for a corner patch of wildness. Full of nutrients and medicine, why not increase the variation in your diet and garden?
